| Joints of chamfered edges are easier to clean (e.g. kitchen platforms). In corners or protrusion where one edge will be visible, it is best to have both the meeting edges cut at 45 °. |

Where a single edge will be visible , it can be shaped and even polished as follows.
You should buy these pre-made. If done at site, often the workmanship and polish are very poor and you have no choice but to accept.
