distance is shorter to Nigeria than from China.

Blue Pearl come from Norway and you can get
raw granite blocks from Norway. BUT there are no factories in Norway to cut and
polish for slabs or tiles. The granite blocks are sold to Italy and China for
fabrication, ie cut into slabs and tiles and then sold to the rest of the world.
You will not get it cheaper elsewhere.
