have an office building with 50 people working in it. I would like to put a
durable attractive surface that is NOT SLIPPERY WHEN WET. I
prefer a bright color in slate, but haven't seen, granite

Offer 4: Slate will not be slippery but at the same time will have a lot of color
variation, so if its a big area then the color variation will be quite visible.
Granite & marble will be smooth and not slippery as you think. Limestone and
sandstone will absorb a lot of water if the floor remains wet and then the water
stains won't go. So in an office the best option is granite or marble.
